NOTE: These are in stock and ready to go. If you want these quickly, order these cards all by themselves, and we will ship your order the very next day, instead of our normal 1-2 week time frame. That way, you can have the time to send them on to your loved ones! This set of 10 5x7 holiday greeting cards includes envelopes and features original artwork created just for this set, as well as a holiday-themed poem by H.P. Lovecraft himself. This poem was first published in Weird Tales magazine in December of 1926. Originally, it was titled "Festival" and included an extra stanza that poked fun at Weird Tales editor Farnsworth Wright. Wright liked the poem but dropped the last stanza that referred to him and published it under the title "Yule Horror." The front of the card depicts cultists gathering for an unholy Yuletide rite beyond the frightening visage of Cthulhu himself, as well as the first stanza of the poem, "There is snow on the ground,/And the valleys are cold,/And a midnight profound/Blackly squats o'er the wold/But a light on the hilltops half-seen hints of feastings unhallow'd and old." The remaining two stanzas of the poem are printed inside the card, along with more original artwork.
