We are a tiny company that manages this site, hand packs each order, produces many of our own items, and attends events during the year that take us away from the office. We also work with other tiny companies in much the same boat, so it takes us a bit longer than larger companies with big staffs and warehouses to fulfill orders (even Amazon.com can take several days, and they have ROBOTS!). Rest assured you are getting unique, high-quality products made by true small businesses. You will be notified by e-mail if we expect your order to take substantially longer than 10 business days. If your order has not arrived in a reasonable timeframe, please contact us by filling out our Contact Us form with your concern. Be sure to include your name, order number (from your order receipt), and phone number.
We understand that you may want to receive your order in time for a birthday or other special event, and encourage you to order well in advance of the date you need an item, to ensure that you receive it in time. If you would like your order by a particular date, you can also let us know in the comments box during checkout and we'll do our best to make that date, or we'll advise you if we won't be able to fulfill it in time. If you need your order really fast contact us to see if we will be able to expedite your order, before you make it.
If your order has not arrived in a reasonable timeframe, or it has been more than two weeks and you haven't received a shipping notification e-mail, please contact us by filling out our Contact Us Form with your concern. Be sure to include your name, order number (from your order receipt), phone number, and a list of the items you ordered.
Please double check your mailing address for accuracy when you enter it. We use that address exactly as you enter it. If you enter an incorrect address, and your package is returned to us as "undeliverable", you will be responsible for any additional shipping costs. We recommend that you use a secure location for your mailing address. We can not replace or refund orders that you suspect were stolen or misplaced if your package is scanned as delivered by the USPS. If your package is lost in transit, please contact us so that we can get you sorted out. We can initiate a trace through the USPS as long as you notify us within 60 days from the date of mailing.
This simply means that your order has been completed and paid, and that we are working on pulling, producing (in the case of items that we make to order), packaging, and shipping your order. This process can take anywhere from a few days to two weeks. Please keep in mind that this is a two person company, and shipping orders is one of many many responsibilities we have. While we try to ship orders as quickly as possible, we typically need 1-2 weeks to put your order in the mail.
We understand that sometimes you need an order for a special occasion, or before you go world-traveling. First, we encourage you to order at least two weeks in advance, and choose at least Priority Mail shipping (Parcel Post is not reliable enough to make a date) or Express. If you can't make your order that far ahead of time, that's cool... please let us know in the comments box during checkout when you need the order. If you forget to tell us about the specific date during checkout, use our Contact Us Form to tell us, as soon as possible. Either way, we'll let you know if we can make the date or not. We may be able to expedite your order, but only if we know when you need it.
We ship all of our orders by USPS Mail with a Delivery Confirmation tracking number. USPS Mail Services include First Class, Parcel Post, Priority Mail, and Express Mail. First Class and Parcel Post are the cheapest, but also the slowest, and have no guarantee of delivery time. Priority Mail usually arrives quickly within the U.S., generally 2-3 business days, but delivery time is not guaranteed. Express Mail in the U.S. is guaranteed for either next day or second day delivery, depending on your location.
To estimate when you will receive your package, add our shipping timeframe of 1-2 weeks to the shipping time of the shipping method that you chose during checkout. For example, if you chose Priority Mail shipping during checkout on July 31, you can expect to receive your package between (approximately) August 9th and August 17th (or the following business day, if a Sunday gets in the way of delivery).
We offer USPS Express Mail as our expedited shipping method. Express Mail allows you to reliably track and receive your package on a predictable date, once we ship. The method you choose does not guarantee that we will ship your package sooner. While we try to ship all orders as soon as possible, please allow the same 1-2 weeks for us to process and ship your order, even if you choose Express Mail shipping. If you would like your order by a particular date, you can let us know in the comments box during checkout and we'll do our best, or if you need it really fast contact us to see if we will be able to expedite your order, before you make it.
For orders shipped outside the U.S., we offer First Class, Priority, and Express Mail. First Class International is the cheapest method, but can sometimes take quite a long time to be delivered since it is given lowest priority. Insurance is not available with First Class Mail International. Priority Mail International includes indemnity coverage based on the weight of the package. Express Mail International includes indemnity coverage up to US$100. You may add insurance to Priority and Express Mail services.
Your order may be charged customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, etc.) when it arrives. If you are not familiar with the customs fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information. The shipping charges you pay us do not include customs fees. If you refuse to pay the customs fees when your order arrives, the shipment will be returned to us and we will be charged the customs fees plus return shipping costs. As a result, we do not issue refunds for customs fees, shipping, or the cost of your order if you refuse to pay the customs fees. Know how your country's customs fees work before you order!
We sympathize with the frustration of having to pay customs fees, just to get a T-shirt or two, but we are also a reputable above-board company, so please do not ask us to commit international import tax fraud by marking your item as a "Gift" or with a lower value. Our policy is to include a customs form with each international package, declaring the actual value of your purchase.
