Macbeth

The Scottish Play concerns one of William Shakespeare's most notable stories of villainy and depravity. In this age, when modern cinema is returning to the grindhouse, Macbeth is the ultimate old school exploitation flick. A murderous despot, a wife crazed with guilt, witches and blood and prophecy. This design depicts the three witches of Macbeth, lit by fiendish red light and huddled around their churning cauldron. In the foreground floats the words of the witches' chorus: Double, Double, Toil and Trouble; Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble.
