The Zodiac has taken many forms in many different cultures. In astrology, the constellations associated with each sign are used for divination. Babylonian astronomers developed a system of 12 signs related to animals. The term zodiac literally means 'circle of animals'. The Greeks adapted it to include constellations that are not animals. Our Zodiac designs are adapted from 16th century European woodcuts and include a ring of Western Zodiac symbols.
